Black Pepper is an important intercrop of Kodagu District and the crop is suffering from various diseases like Foot rot, yellowing due to nematodes and unproductive of black pepper vines in many plantations due to infections of virus causing huge loss for the farmers. Keeping this in view ICAR-KVK, Kodagu implemented the FLD on Management of virus affected black pepper plantations for sustaining the yield. The Field Day on Management of virus affected black pepper plantations for sustaining the yield was conducted at Maruru village of Kushalanagara Taluk.
